Figure of Catalytic Hydrogenation between eugenol and methyl eugenol catalyzed Ni/Zeolite 10%. This reactions showed that methyl eugenol have higher reactivity compare to eugenol in catalytic hydrogenation. In this experiment after 3 hours reactions(T=175 oC), methyl eugenol completly hydrogenated to 1,2-dimethoxy-4-propylbenzene, otherwise eugenol only hydrogenated about 67%.
